Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to drive the overall test strategy, planning, execution, and quality assurance activities within a product development environment. The Test Lead will be responsible for coordinating testing activities across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with product milestones, improving test processes, and providing clear visibility of test progress and quality status to stakeholders.
The role requires strong experience in test management, test strategy definition, Agile ways of working, and cross-functional team coordination. Automotive industry experience is considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the overall product/application test strategy in alignment with program objectives and delivery milestones.
- Define and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, integration, system, and regression testing activities.
- Align testing activities with Agile Release Train (ART) planning, sprint execution, and product delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with Solution Test Architects and engineering teams to ensure effective test approaches and coverage.
- Identify testing requirements, dependencies, risks, and resource needs across teams.
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple development teams.
- Support teams in defining their testing approach, execution strategy, and quality objectives.

- Ensure smooth collaboration between developers, testers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Test Execution & Quality Management
- Monitor and manage test execution progress against agreed milestones.
- Ensure appropriate test coverage and traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive the adoption of targeted Quality Assurance practices across teams.
- Manage test inventories, test documentation, traceability, and reporting processes.
- Analyze test results and identify quality risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Support defect analysis and resolution processes.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Provide regular test status updates, quality metrics, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.
- Summarize test outcomes and communicate overall product quality status.
- Highlight potential delivery risks and recommend mitigation actions.
- Ensure transparency of testing progress across technical and management teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Lead test improvement initiatives and support test process migration activities when required.
- Promote automation, efficiency, and quality-focused engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Previous experience working as a:
- Test Manager
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Experience managing testing activities in complex product development environments.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Agile Release Train).
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead discussions with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
