Position Overview
The Head of Vehicle Management & Repair is responsible for overseeing all maintenance, repair, and fleet performance activities across markets. This role ensures operational efficiency, cost control, SLA compliance, and service quality through standardized processes, system-driven monitoring, and continuous optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the vehicle management function, providing strategic direction and managing regional teams across multiple markets.
- Define and implement maintenance, repair, and fleet reliability strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Establish governance frameworks, operational standards, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure consistent execution across all EU markets.
- Drive performance management by reviewing operational metrics, resolving critical issues, and ensuring accountability across regional teams.
- Lead cost optimization initiatives, including maintenance budgets, repair expenditure, and spare parts strategy.
- Oversee vendor and workshop network performance, driving service quality, commercial effectiveness, and strategic partnerships.
- Champion digital transformation through automation, data analytics, and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency and visibility.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Country Leadership to support scalable fleet operations across Europe.
- Build, develop, and mentor high-performing maintenance and repair teams, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure robust risk management, compliance, and asset governance while driving continuous improvement in fleet reliability, productivity, and customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive, Operations, or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance, or related operations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-location operations.
- Strong understanding of SLA management, cost control, and maintenance systems.
- Experience in building processes, systems, and performance frameworks.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive execution and improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in multi-country or high-growth environments is a plus.
- Fluent in local language & English.
