Quintus is recruiting a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to take a key role in enabling the company’s continued transformation and growth.
Quintus is entering a new phase of ambitious international growth. Building on a strong technology position and continued expansion into new applications and markets, the company is preparing to significantly scale its business. This requires not only increased capacity, but also more scalable ways of working, stronger use of data and information, and an increasingly integrated and forward-looking approach to managing the business.
Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Executive Management Team, the CIO will own and develop Quintus’ overall information, systems and digital agenda. The primary mandate is to ensure that the company’s systems, information flows and digital capabilities develop in line with the increasing scale and complexity of the business.
The CIO will establish a clear long-term direction while ensuring that priorities translate into tangible business improvements. A central part of the assignment will be to further develop an integrated and scalable enterprise landscape, strengthening the interaction between engineering, manufacturing and business processes, systems and data, and creating better conditions for efficient operations, forecasting, analysis and decision-making. This includes identifying how digitalisation, automation and improved information management can support new ways of working and strengthen Quintus’ competitiveness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and drive the company-wide information, systems and digital strategy, including priorities and investment roadmap, in alignment with Quintus’ business and growth agenda.
- Manage and develop the functional organisation with reporting managers and approximately 10 employees.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Management Team on how technology, information and digital capabilities can enable business development and growth.
- Develop a scalable and integrated enterprise systems landscape and strengthen information and data governance, enabling improved business intelligence, forecasting and data-driven decision-making.
- Drive digitalisation and automation initiatives that improve scalability, operational performance and cross-functional ways of working.
- Ensure appropriate governance of information security, cyber resilience, business continuity and technology-related risk. Assess , navigate and utilize change conditions such as AI.
Experience and qualifications:
We are looking for a leader with a strong track record of using information, systems and digital capabilities to support business development and organisational transformation. Relevant experience includes:
- Senior leadership experience from a comparable role with functional accountability, preferably within an international industrial, engineering or technology business.
- Demonstrated track record of developing an IT/digital function and enterprise systems landscape in a company undergoing significant growth, transformation or increased complexity.
- Proven experience of translating business strategy into technology and digital priorities, investments and successful implementation.
- Experience of driving digitalisation, automation and improved use of data to strengthen business processes, management information and decision-making.
- Track record of managing significant technology investments, external technology partners and outsourcing arrangements.
- Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional background.
- Fluent English, spoken and written, is a requirement.
The position is based at Quintus Technologies’ headquarters in Västerås, Sweden, with international travel as part of the role.
